White on Mayweather: 'Punches, kicks and elbows', we can add or subtract from there

Dana White discusses how he would negotiate with Floyd Mayweather, but is adamant that a bout with Conor McGregor isn't going to happen.

Despite the UFC's restrictive contracts, Floyd Mayweather keeps insisting that a boxing match against MMA star Conor McGregor will indeed happen. Even his Michigan buddy and NBA star turned ESPN analyst, Jalen Rose has reported that it will happen in May 2017.

Despite all those reports and statements from Mayweather himself, Dana White is adamant that it isn't going to materialize.

"That ain't happening. Mayweather has not once called me about this fight. You don't make this fight without me," White told TMZ. "You know how long it took Manny Pacquiao and Floyd to happen? And they're in the same sport, so you can imagine. It's not happening."

"Plus, if we start negotiating, it starts with punches, kicks and elbows. We can either add or subtract from there, which ever way we go," he said.

As for McGregor, the Irishman has since been officially booked to rematch Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
