More details have emerged about the final hours of Kimbo Slice's life. Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, passed away on Monday at just 42 years of age. There had been rumors that his death came as a result of heart issues, and the Broward County medical examiner's office (via the Sun-Sentinel) confirmed the sad news today.

According to the article, Slice was admitted to the hospital on June 3rd due to "severe abdominal pain, shortness of breath, and nausea". A liver mass was discovered, along with the fact that Slice had congestive heart failure.

He was placed on a ventilator in intensive care, and his family as advised that he would need a heart transplant and he would be placed on a donor's list.

Unfortunately as things got worse, they prepared to move him to a different facility in Cleveland. But Slice passed away before that could happen.

The report also stated that Slice had no history of illegal drug use and that foul play was not a factor in his death.
