n unanimous decision loss to Chris Camozzi was not the outcome Vitor Miranda predicted before their bout at UFC Fight Night 88. As the TUF Brazil 3 runner up told Combate, Miranda had a gameplan prepared for Camozzi, but was just unable to put it together in the Octagon, which left him very bitter about his overall performance.
“It was crap, man," Miranda said. "You can write that down. It was crap. The truth is we had a gameplan perfectly built for the way Chris fights and what he showed us was exactly what we predicted. The problem was that we couldn’t develop what we planned. Camozzi’s style is simple and easy to crack, but I couldn’t deal with it in the fight. We are trying to find out where we went wrong. We are still analyzing it. I was very relaxed and confident, but my body had no answer.”
The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak for Miranda, who had previously defeated Jake Collier, Clint Hester, and Marcelo Guimaraes, all by knockout, after his UFC debut loss to Antonio Carlos Junior.
