M-1 Global will return with the 66th edition of their Challenge series, this time with a light-heavyweight title fight in the main event. Champion Viktor Nemkov, who regained the title in his most recent fight under the M-1 banner will meet Dagestan's Rashid Yusupov in the headlining role. The event will also showcase a co-main event between former LHW champ Stephan Puetz and former Russian Special Forces operative Andrey Seledtsov.

The event will also feature four more main card bouts, including one between knockout specialists Raul Tutarauli and Damir Ismagulov which could determine a future title challenger, as well as the Russian Amateur MMA Championships shortly beforehand.

M-1 Challenge 66 takes place in Orenburg, Russia. The event will feature English commentary by UFC veteran Ian Freeman and BloodyElbow's own Karim Zidan.
