Parsons, who is currently in a coma, suffered a partial leg amputation in the accident. MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani reported Monday that Parsons' full right leg was amputated on Sunday night because he was suffering from preliminary organ failure.

At the time of the report, the surgery was expected to be over by around 6:00pm ET on Monday. It is unclear whether or not the surgery is complete at the time of the writing of this article. Keep it locked to BloodyElbow.com for the latest in this situation.
Parsons was scheduled to face Adam Piccolotti at Bellator 154 next weekend. A replacement will not be sought for Piccolotti, according to Bellator MMA officials.
