New, comments

While the UFC 200 press conference was happening, Conor McGregor responded to Dana White confirming the Irishman would not fight at UFC 200 over social media.

Conor McGregor is always watching.

Despite not being in attendance, the UFC featherweight champion responded to UFC president Dana White reiterating that the Irishman would not fight at UFC 200, during the UFC 200 press conference. He sent out this tweet on Friday afternoon:

McGregor released a statement after the UFC pulled him from his UFC 200 main event against Nate Diaz earlier this week, clarifying that he is not retiring like he earlier claimed. He criticized the promotion for requiring its athletes to do so much promotional work during fight camps.

UFC 200 takes place live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 9. Nate Diaz is currently slated for the card against a to-be-determined opponent, however at the press conference, Diaz said he would go on "vacation" if he doesn't fight McGregor. Also on the card is a interim featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar, and a women's bantamweight title bout between champ Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes.
