Although he lost to Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 84, last Saturday, Anderson Silva came out of the bout almost unscathed and might just get his wish to fight at UFC 198, in his hometown of Curitiba.

According to Combate, who spoke to sources close to the UFC, Silva could apparently be facing either Tim Kennedy or Gegard Mousasi in Brazil.

The 36-year old Kennedy has been away from the Octagon ever since a technical knockout loss to Yoel Romero back in September 2014. Before that, he rode a four-fight winning streak over the likes of Michael Bisping, Rafael Natal, Roger Gracie and Trevor Smith.

Mousasi, who fought on the same night as Anderson Silva in London, defeated Thales Leites by unanimous decision to bounce back from an upset knockout loss to Uriah Hall back in September.  The loss snapped a two-fight winning streak he had over Constantinos Philippou and Dan Henderson.

UFC 198 will take place in Curitiba, Brazil, on May 14 at Arena da Baixada, a soccer stadium with capacity for over 40 thousand people. Fabricio Werdum is expected to headline the card in a title fight against contender Stipe Miocic.
