UFC Brisbane medical suspensions: Mir, Lombard facing 180-day suspensions

Fighters from the headliner and co-main event at UFC Brisbane could potentially be on the sidelines for a while.

Frank Mir and Hector Lombard both came up short at UFC Brisbane last weekend, and what their opponents did to them may put them on the shelf for an extended period of time. The two veterans were a part of a total of seven fighters that were given potential 180-day medical suspensions due to suspected injuries. Antonio Carlos Junior, James Te Huna, Alan Jouban, Richard Walsh, and Chad Laprise were the other five.
