Its fight week, and that means fight picks, fight odds, and fight breakdowns here at Bloody Elbow. This week we're talking about what was supposed to be UFC 196, but has since become UFC Las Vegas: Hendricks vs. Thompson. It's a strange card, meant as something of a serviceable (but not great) appetizer of fights before a big heavyweight title fight main event, but that title fight got scrapped. So, all we have are appetizers. They're not bad, they're just not amazing either. Still, Johny Hendricks vs. Stephen Thompson should be fun and Benavidez vs. Makvosky has promise. So, join us as we break down all the bouts and what we expect to happen in each of them.
