UFC legend Chuck Liddell recently spoke about Jon Jones, saying that the former champ would've had problems against a guy like him. The 46-year-old even went as far as saying he'd still pose problems for the dominant light heavyweight today.
Jones has heard about this and has responded on twitter:
Oh chuck..

He also sent out this tweet that has since been deleted (HT: MMA Fighting):
Jon also responded to a couple of fans on social media about the topic:
I know, I've noticed it over the years. I've always been nothing but nice to the guy https://t.co/tyRhmQa2ly

Maybe he should've fought smarter and saved some chin https://t.co/aZGtrCwSLS

This wasn't the first time Jones has responded to Liddell's criticism. In 2014, Chuck said he would've beaten Jones back in the day. Jones told him to keep him mouth shut.
As for why Jones erased the message about Chuck Norris, our sources couldn't confirm whether Jon was doing his normal tweeting-and-deleting, or he was just fearful about the absolute fury that could fall upon him.
