Alex Oliveira said he would buy his mother a new home with his "Performance of The Night" bonus from his last fight. And it looks like he kept that promise.

Alex Oliveira is a man of his word. After winning a "Performance of The Night" bonus for his stunning KO of Piotr Hallmann at UFC Fight Night 77, last November, "Cowboy" promised he would use the money to buy a new house for his mother in Brazil.

"I have never seen so much money, only on TV.  This bonus will make a difference in my life. I will buy my mom a house. I didn't think I was going to win the prize, I'm so happy." Oliveira told Combate at the time.

Now, as Combate reported, the day has come as he got her a three-bedroom home in their hometown of Tres Rios, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

"I made her dream come true. I bought her a house, a motorcycle and got myself a new car. Life is getting better." Said Oliveira.

Alex Oliveira will now fight on short notice once again as he accepted a chance to fill in for Tim Means in a welterweight main event against Donald Cerrone on February 21, at UFC Fight Night 83, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
