In August, current lightweight champion Conor McGregor set a UFC record for the highest ever disclosed show purse, pocketing $3 million for his UFC 202 rematch over Nate Diaz. That figure has since been matched by none other than the other big star in the promotion’s stable, former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto tweeted out the UFC 207 salaries for the top three PPV fights, and Rousey is far and away the highest earner on the card.
Per NSAC, Ronda Rousey's disclosed fight purse tonight is $3 million. No win bonus. Amanda Nunes is $100k/$100k.— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) December 31, 2016
Cruz is $350k/$0. Garbrandt $200k/$0k. Lineker $43k/$43k. Dillashaw $100k/$100k.— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) December 31, 2016
While Amanda Nunes, who is the UFC’s current women’s bantamweight champion, is getting the same $100,000/$100,000 salary she had for her UFC 200 title fight win over Miesha Tate, she will be receiving a PPV bonus.
Worth noting on main event salaries, Dana White stated Amanda Nunes is receiving a PPV bonus.— Brett Okamoto (@bokamotoESPN) December 31, 2016
No word on the salaries for the preliminary card fighters, but those will presumably be revealed by the Nevada Athletic Commission early next week. These numbers also do not include Reebok sponsorship money, PPV bonus details, discretionary bonuses, etc.
