UFC 205 video: Conor McGregor drills a basketball shot at open workouts

UFC 205 headliner Conor McGregor showed off his basketball skills on the Madison Square Garden floor.

UFC 205 open workouts are all wrapped up, and Conor McGregor finished things off by switching sports. With the workouts taking place at Madison Square Garden's basketball court, which is the longtime home of the NBA's New York Knicks, McGregor grabbed a basketball and gave it a go.

His jump shot form isn't pretty (as you'd probably expect for a basketball novice), but he was able to sink it by banking it off the glass, where it took a friendly bounce off the front of the rim and dropped through the hoop. A pumped McGregor responded by yelling, "I can do it all!" McGregor has now only made one fewer shot than John Starks did in game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals.

Video of Conor's shot (by MMA Fighting) can be seen at the top of the page. To view the full open workouts of all of this Saturday's UFC 205 championship fight participants, go here.
