UFC 205 is such a massive pay-per-view that multiple conference calls are warranted for all of the card's title fight participants. Yesterday, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Tyron Woodley, and Stephen Thompson had their turn. Today, it's all about the headliners, lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
When Conor McGregor is on a conference call or at a press conference, or basically anywhere near a setting where he's in a position to speak, it gets wild. Against Eddie Alvarez, it should be no different, and it's almost certainly going to produce some big quotes. At stake for Alvarez is his lightweight belt, while McGregor is seeking to become the first ever UFC fighter to simultaneously possess multiple belts.
