We are coming off a major fight for boxing fans, and already, we’re looking ahead to another big one. This Saturday night, HBO is back in action with Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Nicholas Walters. This 130 pound title fight has a lot in common with Kovalev vs. Ward - it’s two fighters at the top of the division, it’s a clash between technical skills and punching power, and it’s a fight that has hardcore fans extremely excited.

Lomachenko vs. Walters is for Lomachenko’s WBO Super Featherweight title. The masterfully talented Lomachenko is just 6-1 as a pro, but he’s already a two division world champion who finds himself on most pound for pound top 10 lists. Walters (26-0-1) had a breakout 2014, but has been less active lately, coming in here after a near year long absence. He’s a strong puncher probably best known for his KO win over Nonito Donaire.
