The main event for UFC Fight Night: Sao Paulo saw a rematch between Ryan Bader and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Bader came out of the gate aggressively pursuing Nogueira. Both men threw a number of heavy handed combos before Bader shot in for the takedown, dominating the remainder of the round from the top position.
Bader shot in quickly at the beginning of the round allowing him to land some decent ground and pound. Nogueria was able to land a few short elbows from the bottom but ultimately was left defending against the storm of punches, and a submission attempt, from Ryan Bader.
Bader scored another takedown followed by heavy elbows. Nogueria seemed to be defending better, but after getting stunned, it was all over. Bader rained punches all over Nogeueria before the ref finally called the bout.

Round 3: Bader with a head kick. Nog with a left. Hard body kick from Bader, nice response from Nog. Big takedown from Bader though, right into side. Bader with a few punches but nowhere near the aggression he had earlier. Working the body more now. More elbows, but Nogueira is doing a better job of tying up his arms. Bader still getting some through though. Hard left. Nogueira trying to punch from the bottom. Bader stunned him with a shot and he's really beating him up now. The ref finally stopped it.
