No one is quite sure what dual UFC champion Conor McGregor is going to do next. Will he take some time off? Will he go back to 145 to defend his featherweight title? Will 155 be the priority? He has even set up a beef with the welterweight champion, so it's at least possible he goes there too.
To cover their bases, betting site 5Dimes has released lines on four prospective bouts for McGregor - a 145 rematch with Jose Aldo; a third fight with Nate Diaz; a bout with undefeated grappling monster Khabib Nurmagomedov; and a shot at 170 champ Tyron Woodley. MMA Oddsbreaker had the original lines for the four, with one more book offering a line on three of them so far. Here's how they look right now (via BestFightOdds):
And here's the Woodley line:
McGregor +125
Woodley -155
All of them are interesting, but the Woodley line is the most surprising to me. I figured the welterweight champ would be a much bigger favorite. It seems like Woodley will be rematching Stephen Thompson anyway, so it's the least likely of the four prospective bouts.
Would you take Conor at any of these prices? Or do any of the opponent lines look appealing?
