Join us today on Bloody Elbow for live results, discussion, round scoring and play-by-play as UFC 205 goes down in New York City.
The card features three title fights, with the headliner taking place at lightweight. Featherweight champion Conor McGregor will attempt to become the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts at the same time when he takes on lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.
The other two title fights take place at welterweight and women's strawweight. Tyron Woodley will defend against Stephen Thompson, while Joanna Jedrzejczyk fights Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
This post will cover the main card up to the headliner. So that means a big women's bantamweight fight, a very important middleweight fight, and the other two title fights mentioned just above. The Alvarez vs. McGregor fight will have a separate post.
Live results and play-by-play will commence on this post at 10pm ET/7pm PT, the traditional starting time for PPVs. This was originally scheduled to be a six-fight PPV, but the removal of Kelvin Gastelum vs. Donald Cerrone has dropped it to the regular five. The full lineup and schedule follows.
