UFC 205 video: Rousey skips Rogan interview, storms off stage after Nunes staredown

Ronda Rousey appeared at Madison Square Garden for a staredown with UFC 207 opponent Amanda Nunes, then promptly walked off the stage.

Fans who attended the UFC 205 ceremonial weigh-ins at Madison Square Garden were treated to something extra following the Eddie Alvarez vs. Conor McGregor staredown. The UFC prepared a promotional video for their December 30th UFC 207 pay-per-view, headlined by women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes against Ronda Rousey, who is making her return to the Octagon for the first time since losing her title to Holly Holm in November 2015.

After the promo was shown, Joe Rogan introduced both Nunes and Rousey to the stage, with Rousey going first, then the champion Nunes second. Following the staredown, UFC president Dana White separated them in preparation for the customary post-staredown interview with Joe Rogan. Rousey looked to be on her way off the stage before Dana White briefly grabbed her arm. Rogan brought in Nunes for his question, and after Rousey glanced towards her left, she exited off the stage for good, with Dana White smiling and looking down at the floor. Ronda waved to some fans as the cameras followed her down the steps, where she waved at some fans before they put the camera back on Nunes.
