UFC 205 free fight video: Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2

New, comments

Before Conor McGregor fights Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title, watch McGregor's epic UFC 202 rematch with Nate Diaz.

It's been two months since Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz staged a thrilling rematch of their already thrilling first fight. Unlike the first time, McGregor didn't lose by 2nd round submission, and instead took home the majority decision win, having recorded 3 knockdowns in the process. Of course, McGregor faded in the latter part of the 2nd round, just as he did in their UFC 196 encounter, but he dug deep and pulled off the victory in an unforgettable matchup.

The decision has been discussed to death, but feel free to discuss it even further! I initially scored it a draw, with a 10-8 round 3 for Diaz, but upon rewatch, it was a silly thing to do, and my re-score is 48-47 McGregor. What remains unchanged is that I feel giving Diaz the win is a thoroughly indefensible decision, particularly giving round 2 to Nate, and especially in light of the whole controversy over round 2 of Bisping-Hendo 2.

You can watch the full fight at the top of the page and also share what your score was (or what you remember it being), and then what your score is after re-watching this fight.

Here's how the BE community reacted to the decision:

It'll be Eddie Alvarez vs. Conor McGregor in the UFC 205 main event, live from Madison Square Garden on November 12th. I'm sure you'll be tuning in to watch that.
