Live updates and detailed play-by-play for the pay-per-view portion of tonight's UFC 195: Lawler vs. Condit event.

Join us tonight on Bloody Elbow for blow-by-blow updates of the UFC 195: Lawler vs. Condit pay-per-view (PPV). Ultra-resurgent welterweight champ "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler puts the strap on the line against notorious scrapper Carlos "The Natural Born Killer" Condit in the show's centerpiece. In the co-main event, former UFC heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski meets American-Croatian wrestle-boxer Stipe Miocic.

Also on the PPV card: dynamic kickboxer Lorenz "Monsoon" Larkin meets Albert Tumenov (welterweight), TUF 14 winner Diego Brandao draws former RFA champ Brian Ortega (featherweight) and, in the curtain-jerker, Tony Sims faces Blackzilians' rep Abel Trujillo (lightweight).

Robbie Lawler vs. Carlos Condit (UFC WW title)

R1: Lawler walks Condit into a corner with his hands pumping. Condit has a high kick blocked but it backs Lawler off temporarily. Now a glancing front kick to the body from Condit. Lawler still commanding the center of the cage but he's yet to unload. Lawler goes on the hunt with a right hook and uppercut. Condit defends and circles out, then drills the still-pressing Lawler with a left shovel punch to the jaw. Lawler, possibly stunned, covers up as Condit pounces and lends a smile on the reset.

Now it's Condit who starts stalking Lawler, pestering with rangy kicks from distance and tight one-twos in the pocket. Condit glances with a left over the top as Lawler's circling out. Inside low kick lands for Condit, who switches to southpaw. Condit lands a body kick and left hook but Lawler counters with a right. Lawler doing a lot of backpedaling and dodging to close the round. 10-9 Condit.

R2: Lawler opens up with a lead left kick to the midsection. Condit glances with a left hook, then lands an inside low kick. Lawler kind of hops and checks the next outside low kick. Condit stays busy with low and front kicks from range but Lawler is dodging or deflecting most of them. Lawler catches Condit clean with a right hook upstairs after a defensive pivot. Condit, still pressuring forward aggressively, walks into a beefy right hand from Lawler, and it drops him onto his back.

Condit stabilizes in full guard and ends up ejecting unscathed and apparently recovered. Lawler now checking Condit's low kicks regularly. Lawler finds his timing on a counter right, then follows with a massive left that glances. Condit still kicking from distance and wading into range to initiate with punches but Lawler's counter-striking is dictating the tempo. 10-9 Lawler

R3: A steady flow of front and roundhouse kicks from Condit but they're of more of a prodding nature. Lawler steps in and throws heat with both hands and Condit counters with an up-knee to the body. Lawler pounces with a set of wild rights and lefts, then lands a clean step-in elbow to the face on the reset. Condit answers with a low kick.

Condit with a one-two and a front kick as Lawler continues to evade or block the range attacks. Lawler glances with a clubbing left hand. Condit darts into range and lands a knee downstairs, then glances with another. They clinch and Lawler briefly changes levels for a takedown but bails on it. Condit lands a left roundhouse kick to the body. Lawler answers with a low kick. No dice on Condit's spinning kick. 10-10.

R4: A tentative start to the first championship round with both fighters forming judicious combos. Condit lands a right body kick. Condit counters a Lawler left with a chopping inside low kick, and it knocks Lawler off-balance. They both glance with punches during an exchange. Condit half-catches a Lawler kick and Lawler slips to the canvas momentarily.

More high output from Condit: he has a one-two and high kick blocked but lands a body kick in the next exchange. Condit's not landing everything he throws but he's forcing Lawler to defend constantly, reducing the champ's offensive opportunities. Body kick for Condit. And another. Now a clubbing right to the ear lands for Condit. Lawler smiles and waves him on, and Condit obliges with a knee to the body and more relentless kickboxing combos. 10-9 Condit.

R5: Two quick, rear-leg front kicks to the body for Condit. Lawler turns up the heat with a low kick and a heat-seeking left hand over the top. Lawler steps in with a short, chopping right hand and it lands clean to the face. Condit responds with a stellar combo that starts with a step-in back elbow and flows into right/left hooks. Condit now holding his ground and bobbing in the pocket with sharp boxing combos.

Lawler lands a kick and flurries, driving Condit to the fence. Condit shells up, circles off the cage and dings Lawler with a two-piece combo. Condit continues to string together aggressive and fluid boxing combinations until Lawler digs his heels in and unloads a scorching right/left medley that staggers Condit. Lawler stays on the trigger and hurls heater after heater at Condit, who's somehow staying on his feet despite being bludgeoned with massive punches. Condit, bloodied and reeling, stings Lawler back with a one-two. Incredible round. 10-9 Lawler. I have it a 48-48 draw.

Andrei Arlovski vs. Stipe Miocic

R1: Stomp kick to the body from Arlovski. Miocic lands a left counter but almost with an open-palm strike. Miocic ducks his head on an Arlovski combo and stamps his ear with a short, heavy right, and Arlovski goes on roller-skates before hitting the floor. Miocic flurries to the finish.

Lorenz Larkin vs. Albert Tumenov

R1: Larkin with an inside low kick. Tumenov is just a tad late with his counter on Larkin's next low kick. Jab/hook combo from Larkin misses. Larkin lands an outside low kick but Tumenov times his counter well. Another sequence in which Larkin lands a low kick and Tumenov counters, but Larkin catches Tumenov's follow-up kick -- he can't capitalize.

Tumenov vaults forward with both hands whirring, landing a good portion of the vicious combo. Sharp stomp kick to the body from Larkin, who follows up with two clean low kicks. Another outside low kick for Larkin, then a hard front kick to the gut. 10-9 Larkin.

R2: Larkin continues to pelt Tumenov with quick low kicks to the lead leg. Three have landed in the first minute. Tumenov, still not checking many kicks, tries to counter the next kick with a right. Tumenov glances with a right but eats another low kick. Another low kick for Larkin followed by a quick right to the face off his back foot. Larkin shells on a Tumenov combo and counters but Tumenov gets the better of the next exchange.

Tumenov glances with a left body kick but he lands consecutive left hooks to the liver. Larkin again chops away at the lead leg and Tumenov switches stances. Tumenov goes back to orthodox and digs another left hook to the body. Larkin answers with a heavy right. Tumenov throws a one-two and follows with a left high kick, all of which glance off Larkin's guard. Tumenov lands a low kick, then scores with a right downstairs. Tumenov clubs Larkin with a left hook but gets denied on the takedown; Tumenov scores with a left on the break. 10-10: Tumenov had the more effective outbursts but Larkin's steady punishment with low kicks balanced the round.

R3: Tumenov lands an outside low kick and Larkin answers with one inside. Two jabs glance for Tumenov. Larkin lands a low kick but Tumenov counters with a right upstairs. Tumenov switches stances again on the reset and Larkin, also switching to southpaw, throws a left spinning kick to the injured leg. Crafty stuff. And another. Tumenov lands a right. Larkin lands another spinning kick low.

Tumenov is clearly struggling with putting weight on his lead leg. Larkin shells on a combo and fires another low kick; it's checked. Tumenov buries a left hook into Larkin's ribs. Tumenov still throwing heavy shots despite being hobbled by the torrent of low kicks. Larkin changes it up by shooting for a double-leg with a half-minute left. Tumenov defends and circles off the fence, looking for a counter single. Larkin defends and lands a right. 10-9 Larkin. I have it 30-28 Larkin.

Diego Brandao vs. Brian Ortega

R1: Brandao lands a hard outside low kick but loses his balance. Brandao lands another kick and then clips Ortega with a right cross. Brandao lets both hands fly while chasing Ortega down, then hits a takedown. Ortega rolls into an armbar but Brandao defends well. Brandao hits another clinch takedown and stabilizes in Ortega's full guard. Ortega goes to the body triangle and they separate shortly after.

Brandao glances with a clubbing counter right. Ortega lands a short kick to the body. Brandao lands the jab and glances with the follow-up cross. Brandao ducks a combo and comes high with a wide left hook; Ortega sneaks in a quick right to the face. Brandao goes southpaw and Ortega buries a left kick in his ribs. Ortega tags Brandao with a right to the face and Brandao goes back to orthodox. 10-9 Brandao.

R2: Ortega gets busy with evasive lateral motion and Brandao steps back and raises his arms. Ortega returns the taunt and they re-engage. Brandao's snapping right gets him on the better end of a mutual exchange. Brandao glances with a right body kick but his output and alacrity has decreased.

Counter left lands for Ortega, then a jab downstairs but Brandao zings him with a right hand. Counter right lands for Brandao. Ortega doubles up on body jabs. Brandao glances with two counter left hooks. Short counter right slips through for Ortega. 10-10.

R3: Both men come out swinging. Brandao backs off and raises his arms, then steps into the pocket to throw more heaters. Brandao takes Ortega down when he stands still and covers but then he backs off to reset on the feet. Brandao misses with a step-in elbow and they lock horns; Ortega catches an anaconda in the transition, then steps over into mount. Brandao escapes and Ortega flows into a triangle, forcing the tapout.

Tony Sims vs. Abel Trujillo

R1: Trujillo closes the distance in a crouched stance. Sims easily sidesteps his first offering, however. Nice lateral movement by Sims, who smoothly dodges a Trujillo takedown attempt, glancing with a check hook in the process. Another clever angle from Sims and this time the check hook lands clean. Trujillo winds up on a wide left and Sims counters with a left, showing excellent poise. Trujillo dives on a single leg, then tries to switch to a double leg. Sims shuts it all down and separates though Trujillo glances with a punch on the break.

Sims times a duck-under takedown beautifully but Trujillo flows into a guillotine sweep, then wrenches the elbow-lift guillotine without guard. Sims taps quickly, and that's that.
