Next week is a rare Sunday UFC event, and it's a strong card for a Fox Sports 1 show. Headlining this Fight Night in Boston, MA is a bantamweight championship bout between T.J. Dillashaw and Dominick Cruz. Meanwhile, the co-main event pits Anthony Pettis against Eddie Alvarez in a matchup between former UFC and Bellator lightweight champions. In the shark tank that is 155, a loss for either one of these two would be a big blow to their title shot hopes.

Completing the main card are heavyweights Travis Browne and Matt Mitrione, of which the latter's UFC contract is finished after this fight, and lightweights Ross Pearson and Francisco Trinaldo. On the preliminary card, Patrick Cote and Ben Saunders are featured on the FS1 broadcast, while Daron Cruickshank and Paul Felder compete in the leading bout on Fight Pass.

Three late notes, Abdul-Kerim Edilov vs. Francimar Barroso has been scrapped due to a torn meniscus suffered by Edilov. Secondly, Mairbek Taisumov is out with Visa problems, and TUF 22's Mehdi Baghdad has stepped in to fight Chris Wade. Lastly, Jimy Hettes is out of his bout with Charles Rosa and a replacement will be announced soon.
