Corey Anderson didn't dominate the fight early but in the second round he pulled away and went on to utterly dominate Jan Blachowicz for the rest of the fight. After Anderson was finished administering 10 minutes of unanswered battery from top control, Blachowicz was unable to sit up for some time after the bout ended.
Jan Blachowicz held his own for one round though with a nice stand up game that mixed punches and kicks before Anderson's wrestling advantage changed the fight. Once Blachowicz was on his back early in the second round though it was all over as Anderson pounded and pounded from the top position.
All three judges scored the final two rounds 10-8 which is rare to see even once on the card from one judge but no one objected as Anderson completely and utterly blanked Blachowicz for the second and third rounds.
