It seems that Ronda Rousey's next title challenger will emerge one month after he own title defense. Amanda Nunes vs. Miesha Tate is targeted to go down in December, though no event has been officially settled so far, as Combate reported.
Riding a two-fight win streak with a TKO over Shayna Baszler and a submission over Sara McMann, Nunes is one of the most powerful strikers in all of the division, also knocking out Sheila Gaff and Germaine de Randamie before being stopped herself by strikes against Cat Zingano a year ago.
Miesha Tate suffered two losses in a row against Zingano and then champion Ronda Rousey before putting together four decision victories over the likes of Liz Carmouche, Rin Nakai, Sara McMann, and Jessica Eye. Tate was already linked to a third Rousey fight before being leapfrogged by Holly Holm.
Though the fight is not official and doesn't have a targeted UFC event, options are The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale, on December 11, UFC 194, on the 12th,, or UFC on Fox 17 on the 19th. With 194 seemingly full, UFC on FOX in Orlando could be the most viable option, as Nunes trains out of American Top Team in Florida and Tate has competed regularly on FOX shows.
