Bethe Correia's trip to the American Kickboxing Academy has officially begun. Just like the recent women's bantamweight title challenger announced last week, she has already started to train at AKA in order to hone her skills and pursue a second title shot against Ronda Rousey.
Alongside well-known products of the gym, such as Josh Thomson and Daniel Cormier, Correia posted a picture of her first day of practice on Instagram, which also marks the first time she has trained outside of her original camp in Brazil, Pitbull Brothers.
Correia still has no fightsscheduled after being knocked out by Ronda Rousey at UFC 190 last month in Rio de Janeiro. Before the loss, Correia had a perfect 9-0 record, with three UFC wins over the likes of Julie Kedzie, Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler.
