It won't be against Bryan Caraway or Takeya Mizugaki, but Thomas Almeida got his wish to fight in the Sao Paulo card. The Brazilian bantamweight prospect will step up against Anthony Birchak on November 7, as it was reported by Combate.

On the heels of an impressive come-from-behind flying knee KO over veteran Brad Pickett, the 24-year old Almeida has put together 20 wins and has yet to face defeat. Before Pickett, he already defeated Yves Jabouin by TKO and Tim Gorman by unanimous decision.

Arizona's own Anthony Birchak debuted in the UFC in 2014 and was quickly submitted by Ian Entwistle, but he bounced back from the loss with a first round knockout of former title challenger and former Bellator champion, Joe Soto, in June.

The Sao Paulo card will be headlined by the rubber match between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson. It is expected that Almeida vs. Birchak will air on the Fox Sports 1 televised main card.

Here's a look at the card as it stands:

Vitor Belfort vs. Dan Henderson
Glover Teixeira vs. Patrick Cummins
Fabio Maldonado vs. Tom Lawlor
Thomas Almeida vs. Anthony Birchak
Gleison Tibau vs. Abel Trujillo
Yan Cabral vs. Johnny Case
Gilbert Burns vs. Rashid Magomedov
Alex Oliveira vs. Piotr Hallmann
Viscardi Andrade vs. Gasan Umalatov
Bruno Rodrigues vs. Matheus Nicolau Pereira
