At least one event on Ronda Rousey's social calender is confirmed and open knowledge to the public. The UFC's bantamweight star has accepted an invitation to attend the Marine Corps Ball on December 11th. Jarrod Haschert, a Marine stationed out of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina posted the following invitation to Facebook:
Hey guys, I'm trying to take Ronda Rousey to the Marine Corps Ball this year and I need your help to reach out to her and her fans. Please share this post and video. Thank you!!Posted by Jarrod Hash on Saturday, August 22, 2015
And the post went viral. Since then, TMZ caught up with Rousey to get her answer. She says she's going, provided he can get dates for her friends.
"Actually, I just saw it the other day. I saw, like, screen shots of it before, and I thought, 'Aww, I can't go anyway, because I'm in camp.' But, the fight got moved, so I actually can go. But I don't know how to actually hit him up and say, 'Yeah, I wanna go with you.'"
"I would go, for sure. But, I don't know, do I call him? Or do I set up a time and place, like Never Been Kissed and just show up and have him waiting there until the clock runs out and then be like, 'I'm here!'"
Rousey added that, "He's got to be a gentleman. I'm not a first date kind of a girl." And, after the other members of the "Four Horsewomen" chimed in, agreed that "He needs to find dates for my girls, and then we'll all go."
So, there you have it. Come December, Rousey has a date set. In the meantime, she's getting ready to take on Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 15th, in Melbourne Australia.
