UFC fighter rankings: Letourneau cracks top 10 following Moroz win

New, comments

Valerie Letourneau went from unranked to 10th in the latest UFC rankings following her big win over Maryna Moroz at UFC Saskatoon.

Not much change occurred in this week's UFC rankings, primarily because there were so few ranked fighters competing in Saskatoon this past weekend. The biggest notable move was that of women's strawweight Valerie Letourneau, whose decision win over Maryna Moroz saw her return to the rankings and vault into the top 10.

The UFC rankings can be found here. Bloody Elbow no longer participates in these rankings, although if we did, Nikita Krylov surely would've been #1 P4P in my ballot.

Pound-for-Pound: Conor McGregor is #11 on the P4P list ahead of Anthony Pettis. Robbie Lawler goes above Fabricio Werdum for 6th.

Women's Strawweight: Joanne Calderwood rises to 8th ahead of Maryna Moroz, who fell to 9th below the very woman she just beat a few months ago. Valerie Letourneau, as mentioned earlier, soars to 10th after being previously unranked. Michelle Waterson drops to 11th as a result of Letourneau's rise.

Flyweight: Ray Borg climbs up one more spot to 12th, overtaking Wilson Reis in the process.

Bantamweight: No changes

Women's Bantamweight: As if by magic, Holly Holm moves into a tie for 8th alongside Bethe Correia. Sara McMann, coming off a loss, rises to 6th ahead of Jessica Eye, who is also coming off a loss.

Featherweight: No changes

Lightweight: Ben Henderson slips down to 6th after previously being tied with Michael Johnson for 5th. Bobby Green (11th) switches places with Al Iaquinta (12th).

Welterweight: Thiago Alves is bumped up to a 12th place tie with Jake Ellenberger. Neil Magny's win over Erick Silva puts him over Kelvin Gastelum for 14th.

Middleweight: Robert Whittaker nudges ahead of Derek Brunson for 12th.

Light Heavyweight: No changes
