American BJJ Black Belt and World Champion Rafael Lovato is booked in a middleweight bout against Legacy and RFA vet Charles Byrd at Legacy Fighting Championships 46 in Allen, Texas on Oct. 2.

Lovato is an Oklahoma City-based Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA competitor/coach with his own school whose notable students include UFC veteran James Head and his first black belt Justin Rader. Rader is also fighting at the Legacy event against Bellator competitor Cody Walker at featherweight.
