It should come as no surprise, but Ronda Rousey is a huge betting favorite for her next title defense. The UFC 195 bout, which was expected to be against Miesha Tate but will actually come against Holly Holm, sees the challenger as around a 10-1 underdog at the moment. Here's how the opening lines look (via BestFightOdds):
For those new to BestFightOdds, they take the lines from many sports books and offer the best on each side in the handy chart above. If you'd like to see what each book is offering individually, you can do that over at their site.
Bookmakers had already put out a line for Rousey/Tate that was a little closer, and Rousey has already defeated Tate twice in the past. About the only bout that Rousey could have where she wouldn't be a huge favorite would be with Cris Cyborg, and even that line is in the 3-1 range.
Rousey and Holm's title fight comes on January 2nd in Las Vegas. The card will be co-headlined by a women's strawweight title fight, and could feature other WMMA bouts as well.
