UFC 190 results: Vieira, Franca crowned new 'TUF Brazil' champions

Check out the results of the two The Ultimate Fighter Brazil season 4 finals on the main card of UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The reason why UFC 190 is a seven-fight PPV main card is because the two TUF Brazil 4 Finale bouts were moved to this date. Initially, Reginaldo Vieira, Dileno Lopes, Glaico Franca, and Fernando Bruno were supposed to fight on June 27th in Florida, but Visa processing issues in the United States forced these four to the main card of UFC 190. Here's how they fared in Rio de Janeiro:

Reginaldo Vieira (13-3, 1-0 UFC) def. Dileno Lopes (18-2, 0-1 UFC) via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) - TUF Brazil 4 Bantamweight Final

These two came out swinging early and often. Vieira went for a standing guillotine and Lopes fought his way out of it and even got himself in side control. As he went back up, he went for a guillotine of his own. Then when Lopes couldn't get the tap, Vieira tried another guillotine. Crazy fisticuffs ensued between both men, with Vieira arguably landing the better and harder shots. Technique was completely abandoned. Lopes was bleeding out of his right eye from the punches he absorbed. However, the pace dramatically slowed and Lopes seemed more comfortable as a result. He caught a Vieira kick and took him down in the final minute of the 2nd and scored with some good ground-and-pound. Lopes got a huge takedown in the 3rd round with 3 minutes to go. When Vieira tried getting back to his feet, Lopes dropped for another guillotine, this time it was an arm-in attempt. Vieira slipped out with the help of his own blood. Then he and Lopes teed off with some wild, flailing strikes on the ground, with Vieira connecting more frequently. Vieira went from eliminated in the quarterfinals to brought back because of injury, and now he's the TUF Brazil 4 bantamweight winner.

Glaico Franca (13-3 MMA; 1-0 UFC) def. Fernando Bruno (15-3; 0-1 UFC) via submission (rear-naked choke) at 4:46 of round 3 - TUF Brazil 4 Lightweight Final

A grinding, unexciting fight was mostly in Franca's favor. There was a lost of stalemate grappling, ugly clinching, inactivity, and just low-quality fighting. Franca was coming out on top in most of the scrambles. He threatened with a rear-naked choke at the end of the 2nd. Bruno defended it successfully. Franca won the final with a late takedown, elbows, and then a rear-naked choke with 20 seconds left in a truly dreadful fight.
