Brock Lesnar: Vince McMahon is better at his job than Dana White

Brock Lesnar was a guest on ESPN today ahead of SummerSlam, and pointed out that his current boss is better at his job than his old boss.

Former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar is doing the media rounds this week ahead of SummerSlam on Sunday. Lesnar's MMA career is obviously over, as he chose to re-sign with the pro wrestling organization over the UFC back in March. But while speaking to ESPN today, the topic did switch back to his former vocation briefly.

Recently, UFC president Dana White ruffled some feathers on Twitter when he stated that pro wrestling was "fake". He stated that all the WWE guys he has met are "awesome", it's still fake. While this is obvious to pretty much everyone reading this, the word "fake" is something that pro wrestlers generally hate. They don't mind stating that it's choreographed or scripted or pre-determined, but that's a taboo word. So naturally, a bunch of wrestlers have come out lately to slam Dana for his remarks.

So, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that Lesnar was asked about it in his ESPN interview. His answer is mostly what you'd expect in the beginning:

"Of course Dana, it's fake. Everyone knows that. It's still the same...you're promoting the same thing we're promoting. Dana White is promoting fights, we're promoting fights. It just so happens that we get a little more longevity out of our fight and our fighters because of the circumstances. It is a staged arena. Everybody knows that."

...

"Dana probably, in his defense, is promoting fighting and...it's the same thing. He's trying to sell pay-per-views. He's trying to sell money fights. It's the same racket."

...until he decides to say that his current boss, WWE owner Vince McMahon, is better at his job than Dana:

"It (the UFC)'s non-rehearsed. Yeah, absolutely. But the business model is the same. It's identical. And I think that Vince McMahon is better at it than Dana, and that might rub Dana the wrong way. Vince is the pioneer of it. He's been doing this his whole life. And I think he's damn good at it."

Lesnar will meet The Undertaker at SummerSlam this Sunday. Yes, the same guy that tried to work an angle as Brock walked to the back at UFC 121 after Cain Velasquez beat him up.
