Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the captain of the Swedish football (soccer for North American readers) team, and one of the country's top talents of the last generation, would have happily considered a career in Mixed Martial Arts had he not succeeded in football.

Speaking to BleacherReport, Zlatan revealed that he is a "huge UFC fan" and would have wanted to be a part of the sport in some fashion.

"My father wanted me to be a lawyer but I had a hard time seeing me as a lawyer," Ibrahimovic explained. "But I'm a huge UFC fan, so probably something within the UFC or martial arts. I would see myself good in that."

Ibrahimovic began his career in the late 1990s and has played for the likes of Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona and Milan before settling with Paris Saint-Germain from 2012 onwards. He has been a part of the Swedish national team since 2001.

Given Sweden's rising interest in MMA, what would have happened had Ibrahimovic and Alexander Gustafsson both been competing in the Octagon?
