Even though UFC President Dana White referred him to as a "liar", Tito Ortiz stands by his claim that Cris Justino was prepared to face Ronda Rousey.

The former UFC light-heavyweight champion held a Periscope Q&A session on Wednesday evening, where he responded to several questions regarding the Rousey vs. Cyborg saga. He claimed that Rousey had no interest in fighting Cyborg, even though Justino plans to make the weight.

"What's the deal with Cyborg? The deal is Ronda doesn't want to fight her. That's the deal. Plain and simple. Cris will make the weight but Ronda doesn't want to fight. Scared.

"Ronda is such a great fighter too, it's crazy. You'd think when you are the best in the world that you'd want to fight the best, but hey, it is what it is."

When asked why Cyborg is yet to prove that she can make the 135-pound weight limit, Ortiz explained that she would attempt the drop once she has a signed bout agreement contractually obligating her to do so.

"Cris hasen't made the weight yet for the same reason that I haven't made 205lbs yet. I usually don't fight in a weight class until a bout's signed and I'm going to fight.
