Nick Diaz NAC hearing delayed for 2943rd time

It seemed like there was finally a firm date for Nick Diaz to face the NAC, but his hearing has been delayed yet again.

Nick Diaz and Anderson Silva competed at UFC 183 in January. That was so long ago in terms of MMA cards that I can barely remember it. Most do remember the sideshow after the event though - Diaz and Silva both tested positive for banned substances around the fight. Nick's was for marijuana metabolites, his alleged third offense.

There have been a lot of questions about the testing done on his samples by separate labs though, so a NAC hearing to determine guilt or innocence would seem to be the best thing for everyone involved. It had already been delayed a few times, but seemed to be set for August 13th. The matter could finally be resolved.

You know, until his hearing had to be delayed yet again. According to MMA Junkie, this delay is because his attorney has a conflict that day and won't be able to attend. When asked by Junkie about when his hearing might actually take place, his manager said "I am not sure."

Nick has managed to stay busy while he's been out of action though. He went to jail for a night after reaching a plea bargain on two DUI charges last month, while most recently chucking a beer at Khabib Nurmagomedov and siding with his brother Nate Diaz in the ensuing brawl at a WSOF event.
