This Saturday night will mark the UFC's latest mid-summer super-card. The main event, despite the late opponent change, will likely do Ironman numbers, thanks to the massive popularity of Irish featherweight superstar, Conor McGregor. His original opponent, FW champion Jose Aldo, would have been a tough match-up for anyone, but that fight had to be scrapped due to an unfortunate rib injury Jose suffered in training camp.
Conor's new opponent, Number 1 contender, Chad Mendes, is considered by many to present a more difficult challenge than Aldo would have, adding a very intriguing facet to the fight. Will Conor be able to handle the outstanding wrestling of Mendes? Will his striking be enough to hand Chad the 3rd loss of his career?
