Seven days away from the biggest fight of their careers, Conor McGregor and Chad Mendes spent a very different 4th of July, as you can witness in the fifth episode of UFC 189 Embedded above.

While Mendes has fun on a little boat trip with his team and lights some fireworks to celebrate the birth of his nation, Irishman Conor McGregor remains largely unaffected by the festivities in Sin City. After watching the big fireworks from the balcony of his Las Vegas mansion, he says "I had enough of this shit", and leaves the impressive view to have dinner with his crew.

"It's a normal day for me," he says. 4th of July, 6th of July, "It's the same to me," McGregor explains. "What does mean something, is the 11th of July. Then you're gonna see real fireworks."

On July 11, McGregor will face Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight title at UFC 189 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
