UFC 189: Chad Mendes vs. Conor McGregor fight card

A look at the July 11th UFC 189 pay-per-view in Las Vegas, Nevada, now headlined by Chad Mendes against Conor McGregor for the interim featherweight title.

No Jose Aldo? No problem. Actually it's a problem, because the biggest fight in UFC featherweight history is gone. Maybe it can still happen if Conor McGregor beats Chad Mendes in the interim featherweight title, because that's the new main event. The co-main is still the welterweight championship bout between champion Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald.

Rounding out the main card are featherweights Jeremy Stephens and Dennis Bermudez, welterweights Gunnar Nelson and Brandon Thatch, and Thomas Almeida against Brad Pickett at bantamweight. This show is so stacked with good fights that Matt Brown versus Tim Means is on the prelims.
