While he waits for his meeting with the Nevada Athletic Commission, Anderson Silva will come down to Brazil for UFC 190. The former middleweight champion is expected to arrive in Rio de Janeiro this Thursday, as his friend and training partner, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, revealed to Combate.

"I have been talking to Anderson, he arrives today. He couldn't come on Tuesday due to personal issues, but we will have dinner together tonight and he will watch the fights and be with us."

Big Nog also talked about how so many of Anderson's friends will be fighting on the card and how much it means he came down to support them all.

"It's a great attitude, we are all partners of his. Rafael Cavalcante has been his sparring partner for years. Vitor Miranda has helped Anderson before, too. Even Bigfoot. I'm very proud to have so many personal friends fighting on the card."

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will face Stefan Struve at UFC 190, in Rio de Janeiro, on August 1. His twin brother, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will also be on the card against Mauricio Shogun on the co-main event. Ronda Rousey will look to defend her bantamweight title against Bethe Correia in the headliner.
