It has been months since fans and pundits have seen UFC President Dana White release his frustrations in the form of spirited twitter tirades with some of the promotion's fans. White's combative approach to social media is infamous and he relived that on Wednesday evening when he targeted several fans that spoke out against the firing of beloved cutman Jacob ‘Stitch' Duran.

White referred to several tweeters as ‘idiots' and ‘morons,' then threw in several references to obesity and beauty standards. He also showed a surprising interest in the amount of followers that some of his fans had on twitter.

It was circa 2010 all over again.

Apart from standard MMA media websites picking up the news, USA Today's For the Win, a mainstream website, decided that White's tirade was newsworthy enough for casual sports fans.
