The latest episode of UFC 189 Embedded takes us through two media days, including the open workouts on Wednesday and the heated press conference yesterday. It shows again how much hype there is around Conor McGregor, who was celebrated like a superstar during his media workout.
The more interesting part, though, is when both parties -- McGregor and Chad Mendes -- are being filmed after their intense verbal encounter at the presser. Both men seem to be very emotional afterwards. While Mendes is blowing off some steam with his boxing coach Joey Rodriguez, McGregor gave an almost psychopathic speech:
"When the fight edges closer, the face becomes blank, it all is just the same," McGregor says. "I become colder. So, I see nothing. I see an object in the way that's about to get removed. It's all done now. Now it's time to fight. It's time to put up or shut up. After this he will never speak my name in vein again."
You can watch the whole video above. McGregor and Mendes will fight for the interim featherweight championship this Saturday at UFC 189 in Las Vegas, NV.
