When Ronda Rousey was interviewed by Larry King, she was asked about money comparison for male vs. female fighters, with a disparity between genders usually happening in other businesses. According to the UFC champ she's being compensated so well that she is poised to be one of the top earners in history despite having just a handful of fights with the promotion so far.

"Well, I don't know exactly what everyone else's contract looks like, but I think within the next few fights I'll be in the top five to 10 money-making of all time in MMA," Rousey told Larry King (HT: David St. Martin). "So I'm paid well."

When asked if there's big money in MMA Rousey replied with a laugh, "well a lot more than Olympic Judo!"

While Rousey's disclosed base salary is just $65,000 to show plus another $65,000 to win, she also reportedly earns about a million dollars in PPV points, along with side sponsorship deals with the UFC, Reebok, and other brands.

Dana White has also stated recently that Rousey earns over 3 million dollars in sponsorships.
