UFC Fight Night 65 is set to go down in Adelaide, Australia tonight with a heavyweight slugfest on top. Veteran Mark Hunt will look to rebound from a loss in a title fight when he takes on striker Stipe Miocic. The co-main event will see number 14-ranked middleweight Brad Tavares taking on TUF Smashes winner Robert Whittaker in his second UFC bout at 185 pounds.
We'll cover all the main card action in this post. Tonight's entire event will air on UFC Fight Pass, with the main card kicking off at roughly 11pm ET/8pm PT. The prelims go live around 7:45pm ET/4:45pm PT. There will be four fights on the main card.

Round 1 - Hunt with a leg kick. Miocic went for a takedown but Hunt got up immediately. Hunt scores on the inside. Left hook again for Hunt. Counter straight right from Miocic. Nice short left hook too. Beautiful single leg takedown by Miocic. Miocic with some short elbows and body shots from half guard. Hunt with an elbow from the bottom but Miocic opened up with some hard GnP. Miocic used a kimura attempt to move to side, but Hunt rolled out. 10-9 Miocic.
Round 2 -Miocic with a bevy of jabs. Hunt scores with a left hook, Miocic scores with a straight left and right hook. Standing elbow from Miocic. Stipe looking for a takedown, he ended up on his knees with Miocic on his back. Miocic badgering him with short punches to each side of the head. Hunt finally got up halfway through the round. Jab, and two huge rights from Miocic backed Hunt off. And another. Hunt responds with a left hook. Big elbow from Miocic. Hunt is taking all the shots. Miocic clinches up and grinds on the cage. Hunt stuffs a takedown attempt. And another. Hunt looks tired though. Both men land huge shots just before the horn 10-9 Miocic.
Round 3 - Nice jab from Miocic, and a big takedown. The crowd boos at that. He works in half guard again with elbows. Big right and some lefts. Elbows to the side of the head. Hunt tried to move over to the c age but Miocic is all over him. Hunt finally got up, but ate a right and got taken right back down. Miocic moved to mount. Tons of punches from Miocic. The referee is giving Hunt a chance to fight back but he's trapped. Still though, the ref didn't stop it. Miocic wasn't punched out, but wisely conserved his energy. He changed position to take the back and laid in more punishment. 10-8 Miocic.
Round 4 - Hunt's eye is a mess but the doctor lets him continue. Right hook from Hunt. Miocic with another takedown. He went back to the methodical ground and pound, with Hunt covering up. Hunt tried to get up a couple of times, but once again Miocic adjusted and beat him down. Hunt finally did get back to his feet with 75 seconds left in the round, but he was totally exhausted. Miocic clinched up and cracked him with a knee. Miocic briefly stepped back to throw a punch, then clinched up again. 10-9 Miocic.
Round 5 - Miocic grounded Hunt immediately again. The crowd hated it, but it was effective. He finally got Hunt against the cage and peppered him with punches until the referee had no choice but to stop the fight.

Brad Tavares vs. Robert Whittaker
Round 1 - Tavares with a leg kick. Whittaker nailed Tavares with a left hook and he's down! Another one and he's down again! And a third puts him out! That is a scary man at 185 pounds.

Sean O'Connell vs. Anthony Perosh
Round 1 - O'Connell came out firing, backing Hippo back against the fence. Perosh tried to fight back but he was getting battered. O'Connell kept up the assault and the referee was forced to call it off before Perosh even went down.

Round 1 - Matthews scored with a left hook and went for a takedown. Matthews picked Vick up and slammed him to the mat, which got the crowd excited. IT didn't stay on the floor long though. Matthews is touching Vick up with nice combos and a lead right hook. Vick with an uppercut, his beast punch so far. Matthews with a right hook. And again. Vick with an eyepoke. That's one way to slow down momentum. Jumping double knee from Vick. Matthews tried for a takedown, but got caught in a guillotine. Matthews had to tap.
