Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson analyzes Jose Aldo vs. McGregor at UFC 189.

It doesn't matter what you think of Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor because Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has layed the smackdown with his UFC 189 fight analysis. The WWE livewire and actor has been promoting his upcoming blockbuster film San Andreas which is set for nationwide release tomorrow. As well as talking about San Andreas, The Rock also delved into the highly anticipated matchup between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor with Entertainment.ie. The Rock respects both fighters tremendously but believes Conor McGregor may a possesses a slight mental advantage over the reigning featherweight champ. He also says that the brash Irishman shares similarities to The Rock:

"Conor ain't no joke. He's a bad dude and Aldo is a bad dude, so you're gonna have two bad dudes that are gonna go at it," The Rock said. "With Aldo there's a quiet confidence and with Conor the confidence is not quiet. It reminds me of how I was in the WWE, and I was bold and talking s**t and there was nothing that I wouldn't say. Conor creates great interest but it's not bulls**t. When someone has a mental edge, and at times I feel like I've seen Conor get under Aldo's skin - and it becomes an edge."

McGregor looked to get under Aldo's skin when he swiped the belt from the Brazilian at the press conference in Dublin during the UFC's world tour in March. The Irishman uses trash talk as a tool to intimidate his foes while Aldo unnerves his opponents with a cold, stoic approach to the fight game. Aldo and McGregor will battle for the featherweight title on July 11 at UFC 189.
