Floyd Mayweather might be the favorite boxer at the bookies, but for two of the most well-known boxing-based UFC fighters in Brazil, Junior dos Santos and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Manny Pacquiao will walk out victorious come Saturday night.
Nogueira, a former Olympic boxer, spared his words and gave a quick analysis on the bout.
"I think Pacquiao wins because of his speed, but it will be a very tough fight. Mayweather is so slippery, he defends himself very well", he told Sportv.
JDS, on the other hand thought deeply about both parts before giving his opinion.
"Mayweather is a very intelligent fighter, he attacks and defends really well", he told Portal do Vale Tudo. "He has that stance with one hand on his waist and the other high, which gives a wrong feeling to his opponent, a freedom to attack as if it was safe to do so. When they do, Mayweather is able to counter with good shots. He fights intelligently and will impose some difficulty to Manny".
Even though he sang a lot of Floyds's praises, Cigano still had to go with Pac Man.
"Pacquiao, on the other hand, is incredible, he goes 12 rounds at an incredible rate. He moves quickly and fires a lot of shots. That's what makes a difference. He will complicate Mayweather's life. He comes in and comes out before his opponent can do anything. I think his speed and volume of shots will put him one step ahead of Mayweather. Because of their skills and experience, I don't think this fight will end by knockout. I see Pacquiao taking it by decision".
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will square off at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, tonight May 2, 2015.
