Video: Ronda Rousey's Judo training revealed

New, comments

Watch UFC women's champ Ronda Rousey prepare for Bethe Correia behind closed gym doors.

UFC marquee star Ronda Rousey has rocked the women's bantamweight landscape with her commanding Judo throws and vicious armbars. The 135 lb. champ uses her Olympic Judoka abilities to effortlessly flip her opponents onto the mat, followed up with her limb cranking armbar. The 28-year-old has finished all but one of her fights in the first round, with 9 of those stoppages being sealed with her signature armbar submission. Check out the video above - recorded by Layzie The Savage - to see the former Olympian's Judo abilities exhibited in full behind closed gym doors.

Rowdy can be seen utilizing a number of different throws and tosses on her training partner in preparation for her upcoming Brazilian opponent. The bantamweight ruler is set to square off with Bethe Correia at UFC 190 on August 1. After conquering members of Ronda Rousey's 'Four Horsewoman' stable in Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler, the former Olympian will be looking to avenge her teammates this Summer.

If the champ silences her Brazilian foe at UFC 190, perhaps we'll finally get to see the armbar queen collide with long-time nemesis Cristiane 'Cyborg' Justino in the future.
