Bloody Elbow alum Luke Thomas is in Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao super mega wonder fight and he caught up with UFC Heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez.
Luke gets the champ to talk about his injuries, his recovery, the pain of missing the UFC's debut in Mexico City and wayward UFC LHW champ Jon Jones.
"People love to see him. He needs to go back out there and do what he's been doing (in the cage)," said Velasquez.
When asked how he avoids trouble Cain responded, "I stick to the people I know. Just my family and old friends. If I'm not fighting I'm with my family, that's it."
He also comments on UFC Flyweight prospect Henry Cejudo and his potential to breakout as a cross-over star with Latin American fans. His injured AKA teammate Khabib Nurmagomedov and whether or not the camp needs to change how they train to cut back on injuries.
And he makes his pick for Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.
