This may sound repetitive, but it looks like Anderson Silva has asked to postpone his hearing with the Nevada Athletic Commission once again. Combate reports that the date has been pushed back to sometime in May. The hearing is expected to result in a suspension, stemming from Silva's set of failed drug tests surrounding UFC 183. Silva tested positive for Androstane and Drostanolone both before and after his bout with Nick Diaz.
Just last month Anderson Silva asked for his hearing to be postponed to April 9 and the Commission decided to schedule it for April 21, but now, according to the former UFC middleweight champion's crew, Anderson is still running some lab tests that he would like to add to his defense when the results come back.
Since the NAC only meets once a month to discuss such matters, apparently Anderson has been granted three more weeks to organize his case, according to Nevada deputy attorney general, Christopher Eccles.
So we will all just have to play the waiting game a little longer on this one.
