UFC 187: Cormier vs. Johnson fight card

Jon Jones and Khabib Nurmagomedov are out of UFC 187, so what does the May 23rd card looks like now?

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

By now you've heard that Jon Jones has been stripped of his light heavyweight belt and suspended indefinitely, which obviously means he's out of the UFC 187 main event against Anthony Johnson. Contesting the vacant belt opposite Rumble is none other than Daniel Cormier, he who was defeated by Jones in the main event of UFC 182. Also out of UFC 187? Khabib Nurmagomedov, whose anticipated showdown with Donald Cerrone has been pulled again due to a knee injury. In his place is Canadian striker John Makdessi.

Nevertheless, there are still two title fights on the card, including the middleweight title fight between champion Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort. Travis Browne faces Andrei Arlovski in a heavyweight match-up, while the PPV opens with Joseph Benavidez against John Moraga in the flyweight division.

Here's what the May 23rd card looks like now ... oh, and Sean Spencer is out of his fight with Mike Pyle so there will be another replacement needed for that bout.
