It took all of three hours for Jon Jones to turn himself into law enforcement officers and post bail.

According to, the UFC light-heavyweight kingpin, who had an arrest warrant for a felony charge after fleeing the scene of an accident, paid $2,500 bail and was eventually released from the Bernalillo County Metro Detention Center.

The police report, which was released to media members on Monday afternoon, revealed that Jones had run a red light and caused a three-car accident that involved a pregnant woman. It also stated that a witness had seen Jones allegedly grab "handfuls of cash" before fleeing the scene of the accident. A "marijuana pipe with marijuana inside it" was also found in a car with Jones' paperwork with "information on it from the state of Nevada."

The UFC is yet to offer any updates to their vague statement from Sunday evening, which explained that the promotion is "in the process of gathering facts and will reserve further comment until more information is available."
